I participated to the EURAD Final Annual Event where I could present my latest results related to WP 15, in poster format.
My research focused on the impact of gamma radiation on the surface properties and structure of bentonite at the clay/container interface. The reception of my work was positive with constructive comments opening up new perspectives for future research.
The conference brought together researchers from various countries, all focused on radioactive waste management. The plenary sessions and workshops provided a broad overview of the challenges and solutions in the field, allowing me to broaden my knowledge and better understand the global context of our work.
A valuable aspect of the congress was the opportunity to network with other experts. These interactions facilitated the exchange of ideas in our area of study.
I am looking forward to the development of the new EURAD 2 project. The preliminary presentations on its objectives and approaches were encouraging. I am confident that this project will continue to make significant progress. I look forward to actively participating in EURAD 2 and contributing with my future research.
In conclusion, my participation in the final conference of the EURAD project was an enriching experience. Presenting my results, learning from other experts and establishing professional contacts was rewarding.
