EURAD Roadmap and the School of Radioactive Waste Management

The EURAD Roadmap is a representation of a generic radioactive waste management programme that shall enable users and programmes to ‘click-in’, and access existing knowledge and active work or future plans in EURAD and elsewhere. Therefore, activities of the School of Radioactive Waste Management will be linked to the Roadmap.

The School of Radioactive Waste Management aims to compose a diverse portfolio of tailored basic and specialized training courses. In this section, you can view the courses organized within EURAD and the courses given by external providers in the field of radioactive waste management.

The School of Radioactive Waste Management organizes a Mobility Programme dedicated to financially support junior and senior professionals, as well as PhD students and post-docs from EURAD beneficiaries and linked third parties to visit infrastructures from EURAD partners and to undertake internships and/or exchange programmes between institutions within EURAD. In this section, you can find the Mobility Programme guidelines, apply for a mobility grant, and consult a list of previously performed mobility actions.

EURAD webinars are organized to connect people, both in- and outside of EURAD, to communicate the main results from the European Joint Programme EURAD and to present hot topics in the field of radioactive waste management. The webinars are live streamed and recorded. In this section, an overview of upcoming webinars and a library of past webinars can be consulted.

This section is aimed specifically at PhD students in EURAD in order to foster a community between them and to help them broaden their views in the field of radioactive waste management and related fields. Here, PhD students can find an overview of all PhD students currently working within EURAD, a list of events that is of interest to PhD students and a list of publications made by EURAD PhD students.

The forum offers an online space for participants to discuss various subjects related to the School of Radioactive Waste Management (e.g. course contents, perspectives for implementation, etc.), EURAD activities, the EURAD Roadmap Themes and radioactive waste management in general.
