What we offer?

Amphos 21, within its Radioactive Waste Management department, has an open position for an Early-research scientist at its office in Barcelona, Spain. The candidate will join a vibrant multicultural and multidisciplinary team of more than 30 people working in radioactive waste management issues with a transversal approach covering a wide range of applications from the radioactive waste source to the biosphere.

Main responsibilities?

To support senior scientists in the development of projects within the Radioactive
Waste Management department
To support experimental projects developed by technicians including,
experimental design, lab work and data analysis and interpretation.

Requirements

You have a degree in one of the following areas: Chemistry, Geology, Physics,
Maths or Nuclear Engineering.
A PhD in any of the above-mentioned areas will be acknowledged but not
required.
The candidate must have skills in MS Office© package and a good level of
English. French would be a plus.
Knowledge of the use of geochemical codes (PhreeqC, GWB, Comsol, etc.) for
modelling and interpretation of experiments will be positively evaluated.
