What we offer?
Amphos 21, within its Radioactive Waste Management department, has an open position for a Senior research scientist at its office in Barcelona, Spain. The candidate will join a vibrant multicultural and multidisciplinary team of more than 30 people working in radioactive waste management issues with a transversal approach covering a wide range of applications, from the radioactive waste source to the biosphere.

Main responsibilities?
To coordinate projects and manage a team of consultants specifically focused on
radioactive waste behaviour topics.
To prepare proposals for national and/or international organizations acting as a
liaison with clients.
To contribute together with the rest of team members to the development of new
products and services within the department.
Requirements
The candidate must have a PhD on one of the following areas: Chemistry,
Geology, Physics, Maths or Nuclear Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience managing teams and/or working in the nuclear
industry is required.
The candidate must have skills in MS Office© package and a good level of
English. French would be a plus.
Knowledge of the use of geochemical codes (PhreeqC, GWB, Comsol, etc.) for
modelling and interpretation of experiments will be positively evaluated.
