The José Cabrera NPP is located in the municipality of Almonacid de Zorita (Guadalajara). It began operation in 1968 and it was shut down in 2006. The dismantling and decommissioning project started in 2009.
There is an Information centre at the NPP that was created to provide society with information on the various phases involved in the process, it will remain open for the whole duration of the project. The standard visit includes information on Enresa’s experience in the dismantling process, the various phases involved in the process and the project’s current status.
