Organisation Description
The VR-1 training reactor is a light-water, zero-power research reactor using enriched uranium. It provides education for students and training for qualified nuclear industry staff. The reactor enables measurements of core characteristics, kinetic parameters, studies of reactivity and thermal feedbacks, and the conduct of neutron activation analyses.
