Organisation Description
The FEBEX Mock-up is a large-scale experimental facility simulating the saturation of a bentonite barrier under a thermal gradient, with two heaters representing radioactive waste containers. The facility is equipped with numerous sensors to monitor the evolution of thermo-hydro-mechanical variables. It has been in operation since 1997.
