Organisation Description
Located across the Gard and Drôme regions, the CEA Marcoule Centre employs around 1,500 staff members and focuses on advancing science and technology for a circular, low-carbon energy economy. Its research activities emphasise sustainable resource use and integrated process approaches to support the energy transition. The centre’s nuclear expertise is centred on the nuclear material cycle, fuel treatment and recycling, and radioactive waste management. In addition, CEA Marcoule is responsible for some of the largest decommissioning and site remediation projects in Europe.
Potential for Mobility
Mobility opportunities are possible. While the centre comprises numerous laboratories, not all are equipped to host mobility activities; however, opportunities may be considered within the laboratories actively participating in the EURAD-2 work packages.
