Organisation Description
Situated in the commune of Saint-Paul-Lez-Durance (Bouches-du-Rhône), the CEA/Cadarache Centre was established on 14 October 1959, approximately 40 kilometres north of Aix-en-Provence, at the intersection of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Var, and Vaucluse departments. Its activities are organised across several research and development platforms, primarily focused on nuclear energy (both fission and fusion), alongside emerging energy technologies, plant ecophysiology, and microbiology studies.
Potential for Mobility
Mobility opportunities are possible. Although the centre comprises numerous laboratories, not all can host mobility activities; however, placements may be considered within the laboratories actively engaged in the EURAD-2 work packages.
