Organisation Description
The Technical University of Liberec (TUL) operates the computing cluster Charon, which is part of the national virtual organisation MetaCentrum. The cluster provides support and a common task queuing system for computational research. It runs on Linux OS with 24 nodes, each equipped with two 10-core Intel Xeon Silver 4114 2.2 GHz processors, 96 GB RAM, and 480 GB SSD. Software available includes all applications provided by MetaCentrum as well as TUL-developed tools for groundwater and THM simulation and pre/post-processing. In particular, Flow123d, with contributions from the EURAD DONUT WP, can be run in parallel mode and new simulation schemes can be tested for computational efficiency.
Potential Type of Collaboration
