In the frame of this project Dimitra aims to obtain a better understanding of the surface diffusion effects of strongly sorbing radionuclides such as Nickel and Cobalt in illite. To this end she will use two types of illite (homoionic Na Illite and the K illite) to extract information and to compare their Electrical Double Layer effect.
