Organisation Description
El Cabril is a disposal facility for very low-level waste (VLLW) and low- and intermediate-level waste (LILW), located in the municipality of Hornachuelos, Córdoba, Spain. The facility encompasses technological capabilities for the characterization, treatment, and conditioning of radioactive waste.
El Cabril hosts an Information Centre where visitors can gain a detailed, first-hand view of facility operations, including waste reception, treatment, conditioning, and the radiological control and safety programs implemented on-site. Technical visits are available upon request.
