The ultimate goal of the project is to provide a model based link between the molecular scale diffusivity of gaseous molecules in confinement at saturated and partially saturated conditions obtained by MD simulations and the macroscopic transport coefficients (measured in experiments) by 3D pore scale modelling of gas transport taking into account the explicate geometry of clay particles and pore space.
