Organisation Description

The laboratories at KIT INE provide facilities for working with radioactive materials, including alpha-emitting nuclides. They feature hot cells for handling spent fuel or vitrified waste samples, alpha boxes, inert gas atmosphere boxes, and isotope hoods. The infrastructure supports sorption and retention studies, solubility and leaching experiments, and radionuclide speciation research.

Potential Type of Collaboration

Access to data or facilities; joint research initiatives; training programmes or knowledge transfer activities.
