Organisation Description
The Minor Actinide Laboratory (MA-lab) at JRC is a specialised facility for the fabrication of fuels and targets containing minor actinides such as americium and curium. It supports research on Partitioning and Transmutation (P&T) in Europe and is one of the few dedicated facilities for producing MA-containing materials for property measurements or test pins for irradiation experiments.
